1. Vocabulary-based रिक्त स्थान
यहाँ सही शब्द का चयन शुद्ध अर्थ पर निर्भर करता है। उदाहरण: "The bank (X) a new policy" — यहाँ "implemented", "adopted", "introduced" सब grammatically सही हैं, लेकिन आसपास के context से एक ही सही निकलेगा।
2. Collocation-based रिक्त स्थान
Collocation का मतलब है — शब्दों की वह जोड़ी जो अंग्रेज़ी में naturally साथ आती है। यह सबसे महत्वपूर्ण category है।
देखो:
RBI Grade B में collocations अक्सर banking domain से आती हैं। इनकी एक list तुम्हारे दिमाग में होनी चाहिए:
3. Tone-based रिक्त स्थान
यहाँ परिच्छेद का tone — positive/negative/neutral — रिक्त स्थान का answer decide करता है। अगर परिच्छेद भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की तारीफ कर रहा है, तो "remarkable resilience" आएगा, "poor performance" नहीं।
4. Coherence-based रिक्त स्थान
"The (X) of AI" — यहाँ X एक noun होगा। "Banks are (X) with fintech" — यहाँ X एक verb (present participle) होगा।
| शब्द | Common Collocation | Antonym (trap option) | |------|-------------------|----------------------| | tightening | monetary policy | loosening | | transformed | financial landscape | destroyed/ignored | | integration | of technology | rejection/elimination | | collaborating | with fintech | competing/replacing | | contributed | to stability | harmed/reduced | | remarkable | resilience | poor/declining | | price | stability | political/social |
इन जोड़ों को याद करो — RBI के papers में यही patterns repeat होते हैं।
जब भी passage का overall tone positive हो (जैसे — भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की सफलता), रिक्त स्थान में positive या neutral शब्द आएगा — negative विकल्प eliminate हो जाते हैं। उदाहरण: "The Indian economy has shown (X) resilience" — यहाँ tone clearly positive है, इसलिए "poor", "declining", "minimal" तुरंत बाहर। केवल "remarkable" बचता है। Standard approach (सभी options check करना): 40 सेकंड। Tone Mirror: 8 सेकंड — 3 options एक साथ eliminate।
जब passage में एक keyword पहले आ चुकी हो और बाद में "this (X)" या "the (X)" जैसी structure आए, तो वह पहले वाली keyword का echo है। "Digital banking has transformed..." → "However, this digital (X) has brought challenges" — यहाँ (X) = "transformation" क्योंकि यह anaphoric reference है।
"Banks are (X) with fintech companies" — "competing" meaning में सही लगता है, लेकिन "collaborating" वह collocation है जो banking context में fintech partnership को describe करती है। Test: क्या मैंने यह phrase किसी newspaper/RBI document में पढ़ी है? अगर हाँ, वही collocation सही है। इससे 30% trap questions से बचाव होता है।
रिक्त स्थान के पहले और बाद के शब्दों से grammatical category (noun/verb/adjective/adverb) तय करो। "The (X) of AI has enabled..." — यहाँ X noun होना चाहिए। "rejection" ✓ noun, "integrate" ✗ verb — तुरंत eliminate।
Hierarchy याद रखो: Domain knowledge > Anaphoric echo > Grammar filter > Tone filter > Collocation check।
Answer: "tightening"।
क्यों यह प्रश्न: "Price stability" एक fixed collocation है — RBI का mandated objective। यह banking domain knowledge का सीधा परीक्षण है।
समाधान का रास्ता: Blank: "The RBI's commitment to (5) stability"। RBI किस stability के लिए known है? "Price stability" — यह RBI Act में mandated है। "Political stability" — RBI का काम नहीं। "Social/emotional stability" — clearly irrelevant। Banking domain knowledge से 3 options instantly eliminate।
क्यों यह प्रश्न: "Transformed" vs "destroyed" vs "complicated" — tone और collocation का test। यह paragraph का opening blank है जो पूरे passage का tone set करता है।
समाधान का रास्ता: Passage आगे digital banking के benefits बता रहा है (personalized services, fraud detection)। Tone clearly positive है। "Destroyed" और "ignored" negative हैं — eliminate। "Complicated" neutral-negative है। "Transformed" positive है और "transform the landscape" एक established collocation है। Answer: "transformed"।
क्यों यह प्रश्न: यह anaphoric echo का classic example है। Passage में पहले "transformed" आ चुका है, और यहाँ "this digital (9)" उसी का reference है।
समाधान का रास्ता: Blank: "However, this digital (9) has also brought new challenges"। Passage की शुरुआत में "Digital banking has transformed the financial landscape" लिखा था। "This digital (X)" = "this digital transformation"। यह anaphoric reference है। "regression" और "stagnation" tone से गलत हैं। "Confusion" collocationally गलत है। Answer: "transformation"।
क्यों यह प्रश्न: "Collaborating" vs "competing" — यह सबसे common trap है। दोनों grammatically सही हैं, लेकिन meaning और collocation अलग-अलग outcomes देते हैं।
समाधान का रास्ता: "Traditional banks are now (7) with fintech companies to provide seamless customer experiences।" — Key word है "to provide seamless experiences"। अगर banks compete करतीं, तो वे customers को seamless experience देने के लिए साथ काम नहीं करतीं। "Collaborating with... to provide" — यह partnership का collocation है। "Fighting" clearly wrong। "Replacing" wrong grammar (replacing fintech, not with fintech)। Answer: "collaborating"।
पूरा passage पढ़े बिना blank-by-blank जाना: यह सबसे बड़ी गलती है। जो लोग directly blank 1 पर जाते हैं, वे theme नहीं पकड़ पाते और coherence-based blanks गलत करते हैं। 45 सेकंड की first read हमेशा करो।
"Competing" जैसे traps में फँसना: जब दो options दोनों grammatically और meaning में possible लगें, तो broader context देखो — आसपास के वाक्यों में क्या hint है। "To provide seamless experience" जैसे purpose clause collaboration की तरफ point करता है, competition की तरफ नहीं।
Grammar category ignore करके meaning पर focus करना: "The (X) of AI" में blank noun है। अगर कोई option verb है (जैसे "integrate"), तो उसे grammatical ground पर instantly eliminate करो — meaning देखने की ज़रूरत नहीं। यह 5 सेकंड बचाता है।
