SSC CHSL के लिए वाक्य पुनर्व्यवस्था (Parajumbles) — सम्पूर्ण रणनीति

intermediate 18 min read

अवधारणा

Parajumbles यानी वाक्य पुनर्व्यवस्था — इस प्रश्न-प्रकार में तुम्हें 4-6 अव्यवस्थित वाक्य या वाक्य-खंड दिए जाते हैं और तुम्हें उन्हें सही तार्किक क्रम में रखना होता है।

SSC CHSL

उदाहरण: "A public park in the city was converted into a lively community centre..." — यहाँ "A public park" → नया subject introduce हो रहा है → यह opening है।

तकनीक 2 — Pronoun Referencing Chain

यह सबसे powerful technique है।

नियम: Pronoun हमेशा उस वाक्य के बाद आता है जिसमें उसका noun हो।

Paragraph jumble में test: अगर किसी वाक्य में "they" है और options में कोई ऐसा वाक्य है जिसमें plural noun है → वे जोड़ी बनाते हैं।

तकनीक 3 — Connector Words (Logical Glue)

ये शब्द बताते हैं कि वाक्यों के बीच क्या संबंध है:

| Connector | Signal | अर्थ | |-----------|--------|-------| | However, But, Yet | Contrast | इससे पहले opposite idea होगी | | Therefore, Thus, Hence | Conclusion | इससे पहले cause/reason होगा | | Moreover, Furthermore, Also | Addition | पहले से चल रही बात आगे बढ़ रही है | | For example, For instance | Illustration | इससे पहले general statement होगी | | Finally, Eventually, At last | Sequence end | यह अंतिम या अंत के करीब होगा | | Firstly, Initially, To begin | Sequence start | यह शुरुआत में होगा |

Trap: "But" से शुरू होने वाला वाक्य कभी पहला नहीं होगा — हमेशा किसी और वाक्य के बाद आएगा।

तकनीक 4 — Chronological / Causal Order

जब paragraph किसी घटना, प्रक्रिया, या कहानी के बारे में हो:

PYQ से उदाहरण: Fire वाले paragraph में: "Fires scared humans" (1) → "Gradually they learnt to appreciate" (P) → "It gave light and warmth" (Q) → "They could harden spears and cook" (S) → "700,000 years ago they started fire accidentally" (R) → "Soon they learnt to produce fire" (6)।

patternPronoun-Anchor Method

जैसे ही paragraph में "He/She/They/It" दिखे, तुरंत उस वाक्य को "dependent" mark करो — यह कभी पहला नहीं होगा। फिर उस pronoun का noun जिस वाक्य में है, उसे immediately पहले रखो। यह step 2 में ही 1-2 options eliminate कर देता है।

Micro-example: "He pushed his body to its limits by going on lengthy runs on the weekends." → "He" किसी established subject को refer करता है → P (जिसमें "He fuelled his body") पहले आना चाहिए, और P में भी "He" है → दोनों के पहले subject का introduction होना चाहिए। यहाँ topic ही "a runner/athlete" है → P पहला। Standard approach: सभी options पढ़ो (60s) vs. Pronoun-Anchor: P को anchor बनाओ, R-Q-S की chain बनाओ (20s)।

eliminationConnector-First Elimination

किसी भी paragraph jumble में सबसे पहले यह करो: हर वाक्य में से connector word निकालो और एक list बनाओ। जो वाक्य "However/But/Therefore/Also/Moreover" से शुरू होता है — वह कभी पहला नहीं होगा। जो "Finally/Eventually" से शुरू होता है — वह अंतिम या अंत के पास होगा।

Micro-example: अगर S में "But their ways differ from humans" है, तो S कभी opening नहीं होगी। यह P (animals communicate) के बाद ही आएगी। यह एक step में 2 options काट देता है। Standard approach: सभी combinations try करो (90s) vs. Connector-First: opening और closing fix करो (25s)।

patternGeneral-to-Specific Funnel

जब paragraph किसी concept या topic के बारे में हो (न कि किसी घटना के), तो structure हमेशा होता है: General Statement → Specific Details → Example → Conclusion।

Micro-example: Communication वाले PYQ में — "There are a lot of ways to communicate" (1) = General। "Even animals communicate" (P) = Specific extension। "Their ways differ from humans" (S) = contrast। "Only humans can express in words" (Q) = most specific detail। "Both communicate through body language" (R) = synthesis। यह funnel pattern पहचानने से पूरा sequence 15 seconds में fix हो जाता है। बिना framework के: 75 seconds।

patternArticle Test — A vs The

Opening वाक्य में किसी noun का first-mention होता है → "A/An" article होगी। बाद के वाक्यों में same noun को "The" से refer किया जाएगा।

Micro-example: "A public park in the city was converted..." → यहाँ "A public park" = first mention → यह opening है। अगला वाक्य में "The park soon became a favourite..." → "The park" = already known → यह बाद में आएगा। यह 2-second mental test है: "A/An" = पहले, "The" = बाद में। 4 options में से 2 को इसी से तुरंत eliminate करो (standard 40s → shortcut 8s)।

patternTime-Marker Chain

जब paragraph historical, biographical, या process-based हो, तब time markers एक automatic sequence बनाते हैं।

Micro-example: Fire वाले PYQ में: "Earlier" (scared) → "Gradually" (learnt to appreciate) → "It gave" (specific benefit) → "They could" (application) → specific date "700,000 years ago" (historical fact) → "Soon" (next development)। Time words: Earlier → Gradually → Soon → Finally — इन्हें chronological order में रखो, बाकी वाक्य automatically fit हो जाते हैं। 5 वाक्यों का sequence: standard 80s → time-marker chain: 20s।

तेज़-समाधान रूपरेखा

परीक्षा-हॉल में यह 4-step process follow करो — हर Parajumble के लिए maximum 90 seconds:

Step 1 (15s) — Opening fix करो: क्या कोई वाक्य "A/An + noun" से शुरू होता है? क्या कोई वाक्य broad/general statement है? क्या कोई वाक्य connector (But, However, Also) से शुरू नहीं होता? → वह opening candidate है। इससे तुरंत 2 options eliminate करो।

Step 2 (15s) — Closing fix करो: "Finally/Eventually/Therefore/Thus/In conclusion" वाला वाक्य अंत में है। "The park soon became a favourite" जैसा result-statement अंत में है।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2022
Parts of a sentence are given below in jumbled order. Arrange the parts in the correct order to form a meaningful sentence. (a) is credited with saying (b) do not dry your feet (c) If you want to leave your footprint on the sands of time, (d) Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India
  1. d,c,a,b
  2. c,a,b,d
  3. a,b,c,d
  4. d,a,c,b
Solutionसमाधान
The logical order is: d (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India) + a (is credited with saying) + c (If you want to leave your footprint on the sands of time,) + b (do not dry your feet) → d,a,c,b.

क्यों यह प्रश्न: SSC CHSL 2025 का यह Paragraph Jumble chronological/process-based structure का उदाहरण है। Runner के training के बारे में है — यहाँ cause-effect और sequence दोनों काम करते हैं।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2025
Rearrange the following sentences to form a meaningful and grammatically correct paragraph: P. He fuelled his body for the rigorous workout by adhering to a particular diet and drinking plenty of water. Q. He pushed his body to its limits by going on lengthy runs on the weekends. R. Throughout the week, he increased his endurance by running shorter distances. S. He was tired but elated when he crossed the finish line on race day.
  1. R, S, Q, P
  2. Q, R, P, S
  3. S, R, Q, P
  4. P, R, Q, S
Solutionसमाधान
The logical sequence begins with fuelling the body (P), then building endurance during the week (R), pushing limits on weekends (Q), and finally the race day experience (S). This gives P, R, Q, S as the correct order.

क्यों यह प्रश्न: यह 2025 का दूसरा Paragraph Jumble है — community park वाला। यहाँ Article Test और Cause-Effect chain दोनों apply होते हैं।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2025
Rearrange the following sentences to form a meaningful and grammatically correct paragraph: P. The public park in the city was converted into a lively community centre with green areas and recreational facilities. Q. It was a much-awaited project that united the community and had a friendly environment. R. The park soon became a favourite destination for families, fitness buffs, and nature enthusiasts. S. Volunteers and local businesses hands to donate resources such as plants, benches, and tools.
  1. R, S, P, Q
  2. S, P, R, Q
  3. Q, S, R, P
  4. P, S, Q, R
Solutionसमाधान
The paragraph logically starts with the park's conversion (P), then volunteers contributing resources (S), followed by it being a much-awaited project (Q), and finally it becoming a favourite destination (R). P, S, Q, R is the correct sequence.

क्यों यह प्रश्न: SSC CHSL 2013 का यह classic paragraph jumble है जिसमें Fixed sentences (1 और 6) दिए गए हैं। Communication के broad topic से specific examples की ओर जाने वाला General-to-Specific funnel pattern यहाँ perfectly काम करता है।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2013
1. There are a lot of ways to communicate: speaking, singing, clapping, hooting. P. Even animals communicate with one another. Q. Only humans can express their thoughts and feelings in words because of our superior brain. R. Both humans and animals also communicate through body language. S. But their ways differ from the humans. 6. Sometimes we don't use words but make gestures (like traffic signs) or simple movements of the hand in order to communicate.
  1. QPRS
  2. PSQR
  3. PRSQ
  4. PQRS
Solutionसमाधान
The sequence flows from sentence 1 (many ways to communicate), P (animals also communicate), S (their ways differ from humans), Q (only humans can express in words), R (both communicate through body language), leading to sentence 6 about gestures. Hence the order is PSQR, which matches option (d).

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Fire वाला यह paragraph Time-Marker Chain technique का सबसे clear उदाहरण है। Historical progression और Cause-Effect दोनों यहाँ एक साथ काम करते हैं।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2013
1. Fires in the Steppes or bushes scared humans earlier. P. Gradually, they learnt to appreciate the power of fire. Q. It gave them light and warmth and kept away wild animals. R. About 700,000 years ago, humans started fire accidentally by lightning. S. They could harden the tips of wooden spears and cook meat in it. 6. Soon they learnt to produce fire by striking flintstone and pyrite with each other or by rubbing lumbers.
  1. QSPR
  2. PQSR
  3. PQRS
  4. QRSP
Solutionसमाधान
Starting from sentence 1 (fire scared humans), P (they gradually appreciated fire's power), Q (it gave light/warmth/kept animals away), S (they could harden spears and cook), R (700,000 years ago they started fire accidentally), leading to sentence 6 about producing fire deliberately. Hence the order is PQSR.
