SSC CHSL के लिए त्रुटि पहचान — व्याकरण और वर्तनी गलतियाँ पकड़ने की पूरी तकनीक

intermediate 18 min read

  3. Preposition की गलतीsince vs for, in vs at जैसी classic गलतियाँ
  4. Article की गलतीa vs an का गलत प्रयोग
  5. Adverb/Adjective की गलती — जहाँ adverb चाहिए वहाँ adjective लगा दिया
  6. Spelling Errorfrustrasion जैसी गलत वर्तनी

इन छह categories को याद करो — परीक्षा में हर error इन्हीं में से एक होगी।

गहन विश्लेषण

श्रेणी 1: Subject-Verb Agreement

यह सबसे ज़्यादा बार परीक्षा में आने वाली गलती है। नियम सीधा है: Singular subject के साथ singular verb, plural subject के साथ plural verb।

लेकिन SSC CHSL में tricky forms आते हैं:

उदाहरण देखो: He are one of the few researchers — यहाँ He singular है, इसलिए are गलत है, is सही होगा।

श्रेणी 2: Tense का गलत प्रयोग

Tense errors में सबसे classic trap है — Past Perfect का ग़लत प्रयोग।

नियम: Past Perfect (had + V3) तब इस्तेमाल होता है जब दो past actions हों और एक दूसरे से पहले हुआ हो।

I had seen her yesterday — यह गलत है क्योंकि कोई दूसरा past event नहीं है। yesterday के साथ Simple Past (I saw) आता है।

दूसरा trap: since के साथ हमेशा Perfect Tense आता है।

श्रेणी 3: Preposition की गलती

Since vs For — यह SSC CHSL में बार-बार आता है।

| चाहिए | प्रयोग | |-------|--------| | since | Point in time के साथ — since 2020, since Monday, since morning | | for | Period of time के साथ — for two years, for three days, for a week |

problems since the last two years — यह गलत है। two years एक period है, इसलिए for आएगा।

श्रेणी 4: Article की गलती

a vs an का चुनाव अगले शब्द की ध्वनि (sound) पर निर्भर करता है, spelling पर नहीं।

a oldest member — गलत है। oldest vowel sound (o) से शुरू होता है, इसलिए an oldest member सही है।

Tricky cases:

श्रेणी 5: Adverb/Adjective की गलती

यह नियम याद रखो: fast, hard, late, early — ये खुद ही adverb का काम करते हैं। इनके साथ -ly नहीं लगती।

a fastly runner — गलत। a fast runner सही है।

Verb के बाद आने वाली क्रिया-विशेषण भी देखो: try to travelling — गलत। try to के बाद हमेशा base form (infinitive) आता है: try to travel

श्रेणी 6: Spelling Error

SSC CHSL में Spelling errors भी आते हैं। इनके लिए कोई shortcut नहीं है, लेकिन commonly misspelled words की एक list ज़रूर याद करो:

| गलत spelling | सही spelling | |-------------|-------------| | frustrasion | frustration | | itinary | itinerary | | accomodation | accommodation | | occurance | occurrence | | recieve | receive | | seperate | separate |

PASTA checklist: 20 seconds। Speed gain: 40 seconds प्रति प्रश्न।

patternSince/For तुरंत पहचान

जैसे ही वाक्य में since दिखे, अगला phrase देखो। अगर वहाँ two years, three months, a week जैसा duration है — गलती मिल गई, for आना चाहिए था।

उदाहरण: since the last two yearstwo years = period → for चाहिए → यही error है।

Standard method: पूरा Tense/Preposition chapter याद करना → 10 rules। इस shortcut से: 1 rule, 5 seconds में decision। Step count: 10 steps → 1 step।

eliminationIrregular Adverb Trap

जब भी किसी adverb में -ly दिखे, तुरंत जाँचो — क्या यह fast, hard, late, early, high, low का -ly version है? अगर हाँ, तो गलती यहीं है।

fastly देखा → fast पहले से adverb है → -ly लगाना गलत है → यही error है।

इस elimination से 3 विकल्प तुरंत बाहर — सिर्फ वाला segment जाँचना है जिसमें -ly adverb है। Standard method: 4 options check → 45 seconds। Elimination: 1 option check → 12 seconds।

patternArticle Sound Rule

a या an का error ढूँढना हो तो article के बाद आने वाले शब्द को ज़ोर से बोलो। अगर आवाज़ vowel से शुरू हो → an चाहिए। Consonant से → a चाहिए।

a oldestoldest बोलो → o sound → vowel → an oldest → गलती मिल गई। a universityuniversity बोलो → yoo sound → consonant → a university → सही है।

Spelling देखकर article decide करना: 2 steps। Sound rule: 1 step। 50% faster decision।

eliminationSpelling Error की Reverse Engineering

Spelling error वाले questions में पहले उन segments को eliminate करो जिनमें commonly used और simple words हैं। Error हमेशा उस word में होगी जो लंबा, technical या formal लगे।

frustrasion — लंबा, formal word → suspect करो → frustration से compare करो → -tra- vs -ra- → error मिली।

सभी 4 segments पढ़ना: 30 seconds। Suspicious word को target करना: 10 seconds। Time saved: 20 seconds।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2025
A. My grandfather, B. is not only, C. a fastly runner, D. but also a great swimmer.
  1. is not only
  2. but also a great swimmer
  3. My grandfather
  4. a fastly runner
Solutionसमाधान
'Fastly' is not a standard English word. The correct form is 'fast', which itself functions as an adverb, so 'a fastly runner' should be 'a fast runner'.

समाधान का रास्ता: Part C में fastly देखते ही रुको। fast खुद adverb है — इसमें -ly नहीं लगती। fastly अंग्रेज़ी में है ही नहीं। सही: a fast runner

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Subject-Verb Agreement का सबसे classic और बार-बार repeat होने वाला pattern।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2025
A. He are one of the, B. few researchers whom I believe, C. has the potential to make a, D. significant breakthrough in this field
  1. few researchers whom I believe
  2. significant breakthrough in this field
  3. He are one of the
  4. has the potential to make a
Solutionसमाधान
'He are' is grammatically incorrect. The subject 'He' is singular and requires the singular verb 'is', making the correct form 'He is one of the'.

समाधान का रास्ता: Part A में He are देखते ही PASTA का S-step activate करो। He = singular → are = plural → mismatch → He is सही है। 5 seconds में answer।

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Since/For की गलती — यह SSC CHSL में सबसे ज़्यादा repeat होने वाली preposition error है।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2025
A. The company has been, B. experiencing a lot of, C. problems since, D. the last two years
  1. the last two years
  2. problems since
  3. The company has been
  4. experiencing a lot of
Solutionसमाधान
When referring to a specific duration like 'the last two years', the correct preposition is 'for', not 'since'. 'Since' is used with a point in time, while 'for' is used with a period of time.

समाधान का रास्ता: Part C में since देखो। अगला phrase है the last two years — यह duration/period है, point in time नहीं। Period के साथ for आता है। sincefor → Part C गलत।

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Past Perfect का ग़लत प्रयोग — yesterday के साथ had seen नहीं आता।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2024
The following sentence has been split into four segments. Identify the segment that contains an error. I had seen / her with her mother / in the cinema hall / yesterday.
  1. yesterday
  2. I had seen
  3. in the cinema hall
  4. her with her mother
Solutionसमाधान
'I had seen' is incorrect here because 'had seen' (past perfect) implies an action before another past event, which is not indicated. The correct form should be 'I saw', using simple past tense.

समाधान का रास्ता: Part A में had seen है और Part D में yesterday है। yesterday = specific past time reference → simple past चाहिए → I saw सही है। Past Perfect तब आता जब कोई दूसरा past event हो, जो यहाँ नहीं है।

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Spelling error — frustrasion vs frustration। SSC CHSL 2024 में directly आया।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2024
The following sentence has been split into four segments. Identify the segment that contains a spelling error. In all instances of frustrasion, / you will always find / the anger directed towards / a single person only.
  1. a single person only
  2. you will always find
  3. In all instances of frustrasion
  4. the anger directed towards
Solutionसमाधान
'Frustrasion' in segment (c) is incorrectly spelled; the correct spelling is 'frustration'. All other segments are grammatically and orthographically correct.

समाधान का रास्ता: Part A में frustrasion सबसे लंबा और formal word है — यहीं suspect करो। frustration से compare करो: frust-ra-tion सही है, frust-ra-sion गलत। Spelling error confirm।

क्यों यह प्रश्न: Article error — a vs an vowel sound rule।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2023
The following sentence has been split into four segments. Identify the segment that contains a grammatical error. Babbal is/a oldest member/in our/ Black Ice Club.
  1. a oldest member
  2. Babbal is
  3. Black Ice Club
  4. in our
Solutionसमाधान
The error is in 'a oldest member'; since 'oldest' starts with a vowel sound, the correct article is 'an', making it 'an oldest member'.

समाधान का रास्ता: a oldest देखो — oldest को ज़ोर से बोलो → o sound → vowel → an चाहिए → an oldest member सही। 8 seconds में answer।

क्यों यह प्रश्न: try to के बाद infinitive (base form) आता है — gerund नहीं।

Previous Year Questionपिछले वर्ष का प्रश्न2023
Improve the underlined part of the sentence. Choose 'No improvement' as an answer if the sentence is grammatically correct. I try to travelling lightly, packing only the bare essentials.
  1. No improvement
  2. travelled light
  3. travels lightly
  4. travel lightly
Solutionसमाधान
After 'try to', we need the base form of the verb. 'Travelling' (gerund/present participle) is incorrect; the correct form is 'travel lightly', giving 'I try to travel lightly.'

समाधान का रास्ता: try to travellingtry to के बाद -ing form नहीं, base form आती है। try to travel सही है। यह modal + to + infinitive का standard rule है।
