Light rays from an object fall on a surface and get reflected in a completely diffused manner. What can you say about the nature of image of the object?

When light is reflected in a completely diffused (irregular) manner from a surface, the reflected rays scatter in all directions and do not converge to form an image. Image formation requires regular reflection (like from a smooth mirror) where parallel incident rays remain parallel after reflection. Diffused reflection occurs from rough surfaces, and although we can see the surface itself, no image of the source object is formed.
