The large well supplying water to the Great Bath of Mohenjo-daro was located

The Great Bath of Mohenjo-daro was supplied with water from a large well located in one of the adjoining rooms on the eastern side of the bath. The water was drawn from this well and used to fill the tank, while a corbelled drain at the corner of the tank was used to empty out the water after use. This sophisticated water supply and drainage system reflects the advanced engineering of the Harappan civilization.
